The hotel staff were fantastic and friendly to me and my pets. I loved having a room with a hot tub. the hotel's location near Chellarkovil Viewpoint was so beautiful. Plus, being close to the park, lake, and forest was wonderful. the food at the hotel was also delicious.

The room with garden views was extremely spacious and had a work desk, satellite TV, and a dining area. The food choices were fab. The staff were AMICABLE and excellent, no reason to complain.

The property's location near Lake Palace and the forest is unique. We greatly enjoyed visiting Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The room is outstanding and the staff is really helpful and excellent. It has a peaceful location just off the lake and forest, minutes from Yodha Cultural Village and other tourist sights.

Stunning colonial building, beautiful setting, spacious rooms, exceptional service, friendly staff, wildlife sightings.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Spent Christmas here and it was a dreamy experience! The hotel boasts an incredibly beautiful colonial building and the location is perfect for spotting animals from your room. We saw deer, bison, elephants, even a tiger from our sun lounger. The staff definitely made our stay extra memorable; they went out of their way to make us feel special. Best part was the view, without a doubt. We felt like we were in a David Attenborough documentary.

It's important to note that getting to the hotel can be a bit of a hassle, as you need to climb a significant number of steps to reach it. So, if you struggle with mobility this might not be the place for you.

Located within the Periyar National Park, we were surrounded by lush greenery and stunning water views. Staff were friendly and provided great insight into the wildlife that could be seen from the hotel. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent views of the water and surrounding forest.

The food was not of the same standard as the rest of the hotel, with taste and presentation lacking.

This weekend getaway was absolutely amazing! Surrounded by stunning scenery, we were treated like royalty by the friendly staff who always kept us informed of the animals we could see from our spacious rooms. The location was fantastic, with plenty of opportunities to watch wildlife across the water. One of the best aspects was the exceptional service provided by the staff, going above and beyond to cater to our needs. Additionally, we were surprised by the great food that was offered on the menu.

Despite all the positives, there were a couple of shortcomings. The hotel was a bit out of date and could use some modernization, and cleanliness could be improved a bit. Additionally, there were some accessibility issues - specifically many steps to climb up to the hotel which might pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. Finally, the entrance fees to access some activities in the area were a bit steep, which was not expected. However, overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend it to others.
